Organizations can evaluate the fully operational service, license TV Messenger for selected markets, and deploy a private-label platform under their own brand

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., Oct. 14, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- TV Messenger Services, Inc. announced today that it is opening its fully operational television-based communications and healthcare platform to organizations interested in evaluating, licensing, integrating and deploying the technology in their own markets.

TV Messenger transforms one of the most familiar devices in the home - the television - into an interactive communications and care endpoint. Caregivers, healthcare providers and other authorized users can send reminders, check-ins and other messages directly to a television while live or streaming programming continues to be viewed. Applications include aging in place, senior living, healthcare, post-operative care, medication adherence and caregiver support.

The need is significant and growing. AARP and the National Alliance for Caregiving report that 63 million Americans - nearly one in four U.S. adults - are family caregivers, a 45% increase over the past decade. AARP also reports that 75% of adults age 50 and older want to remain in their current homes as they age. Globally, the World Health Organization projects that by 2030, one in six people will be age 60 or older, rising to about 2.1 billion people age 60-plus by 2050.

A Complete Operating Platform

TV Messenger is more than an on-screen messaging application. The platform includes Android and iOS mobile applications, a web application, a telephony subsystem for sending and retrieving caregiver messages, text messaging, an integrated chatbot, television-based messaging and response capabilities, a wireless confirmation system, value-added apps, and a complete subscription and component billing subsystem for recurring service charges, equipment purchases and related customer billing.

A key element is the wireless Confirmation Button. When a caregiver message scrolls along the bottom line of live or streaming television programming, the recipient can acknowledge it with one-press of a small, 1-1/8” button, removing the message from the TV and returning it to normal full screen viewing. If an important message is not acknowledged, TV Messenger will progressively increase its visibility and urgency and use other modalities to try to reach the recipient. Ultimately, if the message goes unconfirmed, the caregiver or another designated party, is contacted via several different means, including a telephone call, text message, email and/or the mobile application. The television serves as an interactive endpoint for determining whether an important communication received a response.

Patent-Pending Intellectual Property

TV Messenger is supported by an extensive patent-pending body of intellectual property relating to television-based communications and response mechanisms used to help confirm the welfare of loved ones. It addresses message acknowledgement, progressive verification, escalating intervention when a response is not received, caregiver notification and use of the television as an interactive welfare-verification endpoint.

For a prospective licensee, TV Messenger combines a functioning platform with intellectual property, operating methods and accumulated technical know-how. A complete branded operational version is ready for rapid deployment.

Internationalization (I18N)

TV Messenger was engineered for domestic and international deployment, with multilingual support for different languages and geographic markets. China is one of several international markets where national laws place explicit support and care obligations on adult children and calls for family members to maintain regular contact with older relatives. TV Messenger helps to meet such obligations in an easy manner.

Evaluate First, Then Choose a Licensing Path

Qualified organizations can begin with a limited number of TV Messenger accounts on our online platform, and experience the system in actual use before making a broader licensing commitment. Organizations that identify a target marketplace, can then pursue a flexible arrangement to deploy a complete private-label, stand-alone, environment under their own brand. Alternatively, to pursue the broadest domestic and international markets, TV Messenger Services, Inc. will discuss acquisition opportunities.

Multiple Care Environments

TV Messenger can support both home and institutional care. Aging-in-place and home-care applications can connect families and professional caregivers with a person through a device already central to everyday life. Post-operative uses can include medication reminders, hydration prompts, mobility instructions, appointments and recovery check-ins. In senior living and healthcare facilities, staff can use televisions for schedules, meal information, activities, emergency notifications, medication reminders and individualized messages, knowing that the staff will be alerted if important messages go unanswered. Doctor offices can provide a value-added caregiving service to its patients, among many other potential marketplaces.
