Canadian company joins the first-ever longevity cohort from the accelerator behind Canva and Zipcar, with hellopearl.app, the first platform that puts the older adult at the centre and supports the daughter juggling her parents, her own job and her own family

OAKVILLE, Ontario, Sept. 16, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Provera Care Inc. today announced that Hello Pearl (hellopearl.app), its family coordination and connection platform, has been selected for Springboard Enterprises' 2026 Longevity Accelerator, the organization's first cohort dedicated to companies building for the longevity economy. Hello Pearl is one of ten women-led companies chosen for the five-month program, which culminates in demo days at HLTH in Las Vegas and during J.P. Morgan Healthcare Week in San Francisco.

For more than 25 years, Springboard Enterprises has helped launch some of the world's most successful women-led companies, including Canva, Zipcar, iRobot and Constant Contact, collectively creating tens of billions of dollars in value with dozens of IPOs and hundreds of exits. The 2026 Longevity Accelerator is the organization's first cohort focused entirely on the needs and opportunities of an aging world.

The timing reflects one of the largest demographic shifts in history. More than 7.6 million Canadians are aged 65 and older, a share projected to approach one in four by the 2030s, and the 85 and older group is growing fastest of all. The overwhelming majority want to remain in their own homes and communities, and the people helping them do it are most often adult children juggling work, kids and their own lives.

"I'm excited to share that I've been selected to participate in Springboard Enterprises' 2026 Longevity Accelerator! I'm looking forward to this opportunity to learn, grow, and connect with an incredible community of entrepreneurs, advisors, and industry leaders," said Angie Kramer, Founder and CEO of Provera Care Inc.

The First Platform Built Around the Older Adult

Hello Pearl was built for exactly that reality, and it starts from a different premise than the rest of the category. Most technology in this space is designed around the people managing an older adult's life, or the institutions serving them. Hello Pearl is the first platform built with the older adult at the centre, and equally for the daughter or son coordinating support while holding down a job and raising a family.

Each family creates a private Circle with the older adult, the Core Member, at its centre, surrounded by their Inner Circle of family, friends and neighbours, and Trusted Providers like dog walkers, lawn care and home care. Requests, calendars, notes and conversations live in one shared space instead of scattered group texts. The Core Member decides who is in their Circle and what each person can see, so everyone stays connected and the older adult stays in charge of their own life.

"Every product in this category asks who is looking after the older adult. We asked a different question: who does the older adult want around them," said Kramer. "Pearl puts the Core Member at the centre of their own Circle, with family coordinating alongside them instead of over them. Springboard's first longevity cohort is exactly the right place to scale that idea."

Coming soon, members will also be able to grow their Circles through The Market, Hello Pearl's marketplace of services for discovering and connecting with new Trusted Providers.
