Rapidly growing dataset gives QCI customers a more current view of slot performance across the market
SAN DIEGO, Sept. 21, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Quick Custom Intelligence (QCI), a leader in unified technology for casino resorts, today announced that QCI Metrics is approaching performance data from 100,000 gaming machines, reaching significant scale shortly after its launch.
Available exclusively to QCI customers, QCI Metrics allows slot operators to compare their key performance indicators against the broader QCI Metrics dataset using next-day data across rolling 30- or 90-day reporting windows. Traditional industry reports can lag by several weeks, limiting how quickly operators can evaluate changes occurring on their floors.
“Over the past few years, a few vendors have given operators glimpses of competitive slot performance data gathered from dozens of casinos across the country. QCI Metrics goes a step further. Its data is current the moment an operator opens the online report, covering the previous 30 or 90 days, and it compares the operator’s current KPIs against a large database of slots drawn from many of QCI’s 400-plus casino customers. That gives the application a four-to-eight-week head start over other industry surveys. QCI Metrics is still new, but with nearly 100,000 slots already represented and its sample continuing to grow, it could be a real game changer,” said Buddy Frank, Principal and CEO of BF Slot Strategies and industry veteran.
The growing dataset also flows back into QCI Slots, providing broader industry context for performance analysis and a stronger foundation for QCI’s recommendation tools.
“QCI Metrics gives our customers the ability to understand their performance within the context of what is happening across the industry,” said Dr. Ralph Thomas, CEO and Co-Founder of QCI. “As the dataset approaches 100,000 gaming machines, operators gain a stronger foundation for identifying opportunities, evaluating changes, and acting while the information is still relevant.”
The current dataset represents participation from only a portion of QCI’s customer base, creating substantial room for continued growth. As participation increases, QCI Metrics will give operators an increasingly comprehensive and timely view of game and floor performance across the industry.
QCI will demonstrate QCI Metrics at G2E 2026, September 28–October 1, at Booth #2440. Attendees can also meet with the QCI team at the QCI Resorts™ Experience at Booth #2644.
