The company backs the commitment with more than 100 pull requests, validation of new .NET 11 Blazor features, and contributions to .NET 12 Windows Forms modernization
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C., Oct. 29, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Syncfusion®, Inc. today announced an expanded commitment to making engineering contributions to Blazor and Windows Forms, Microsoft's open-source web and desktop UI frameworks for .NET. Syncfusion engineers are actively fixing bugs, stabilizing tests, and validating new .NET 11 Blazor features ahead of release, with plans to continue that work across future .NET versions. The commitment follows the company's September launch of its first set of open-source Blazor controls.
“We’ve built on Microsoft’s platforms since 2001. Putting our engineers to work on the framework itself is the most direct way we know to give back to the developers who depend on it,” said Daniel Jebaraj, CEO of Syncfusion. “.NET is foundational to our products and to our customers’ work, and our team will keep showing up in these repositories, fixing what needs fixing, and helping test what comes next.”
"Syncfusion's engineers show up in the ASP.NET Core repo with real fixes, careful testing, and thoughtful design proposals," said Daniel Roth, Principal Product Manager for Blazor at Microsoft. "That work makes Blazor better for every developer who builds on it, and we look forward to Syncfusion’s continued involvement as .NET evolves."
To date, Syncfusion has submitted more than 100 pull requests to the ASP.NET Core codebase. The merged work includes:
- Virtualization and QuickGrid: Improved scrolling, refresh handling, and pagination, plus build-time analyzer support that flags invalid Virtualize configurations.
- Forms and validation: Fixes to DataAnnotations, model binding, and input validation, along with new coverage for Minimal API scenarios.
- Test stability: Repairs to flaky and quarantined tests across Blazor, Navigation, and Networking, which makes the release pipeline more reliable.
Syncfusion's team also wrote and ran more than 60 end-to-end validation scenarios for new .NET 11 Blazor features, including QuickGrid, Enhanced Navigation, server-side rendering, and PWA support. The work surfaced roughly two dozen product issues. Microsoft has accepted and closed more than half of the scenarios, and it is reviewing the rest.
In addition, Syncfusion has had multiple fixes merged into the ASP.NET Core Scaffolding repository. Syncfusion's Windows Forms team has submitted nearly 40 pull requests covering rendering, Dark Mode, high-DPI behavior, accessibility, data binding, layout, keyboard navigation, and application lifecycle scenarios, along with expanded test coverage.
Much of the current work is still in motion. Dozens of Syncfusion’s ASP.NET Core pull requests remain open and under review. The company has also filed more than 25 design proposals across Blazor, routing, authorization, and developer experience, and it expects several of them to inform future ASP.NET Core releases. On the desktop side, Syncfusion’s Windows Forms team is contributing to proposed .NET 12 modernization efforts, including upcoming framework enhancements.
Developers can explore the open source Syncfusion Toolkit for Blazor and follow Syncfusion's contributions in the ASP.NET Core and Windows Forms repositories on GitHub.
