Field services and SATCOM upgrade orders expand Gilat Defense’s presence across U.S. defense programs
PETAH TIKVA, Israel, Oct. 08, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Gilat Satellite Networks Ltd. (NASDAQ: GILT, TASE: GILT), a worldwide leader in satellite networking technology, solutions and services, today announced that Gilat DataPath has received orders totaling more than $8 million from the U.S. Department of War for field services and SATCOM system upgrades supporting deployed military communications systems. Deliveries are expected over the next 12 months.
The orders further expand Gilat Defense's presence across U.S. defense programs and reflect continued demand for its operational support capabilities and SATCOM expertise.
The orders build on Gilat DataPath’s ongoing support of deployed U.S. military communications systems, combining field services with SATCOM upgrades to address evolving operational needs. This combination enables Gilat Defense to support customers throughout the operational life of their systems, maintaining existing capabilities while helping adapt networks to new mission requirements..
