BURLINGTON, Mass., Sept. 29, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Progress Software (Nasdaq: PRGS), an AI infrastructure software leader, today announced Progress® ShareFile® Enterprise, a new offering that helps larger and regulated organizations scale sensitive document collaboration from a single platform with enhanced capabilities that support governance and security. By combining automated access, SOC-connected visibility, native data loss prevention, intelligent risk monitoring and rich investigation context, ShareFile Enterprise gives IT and security teams greater visibility, control and governance over sensitive document workflows, without disrupting the user experience.

The result is a more scalable approach to document collaboration and file sharing that helps organizations reduce administrative burden, strengthen governance and support growth without changing how employees, clients and partners work.

Sensitive document collaboration in many organizations is expanding faster than the controls built to govern it.   • SCIM provisioning with Microsoft Entra ID: Automates employee provisioning and deactivation to help keep ShareFile access aligned with workforce changes and reduce repetitive access administration.

  • SIEM integration with Splunk and Microsoft Sentinel: Routes supported ShareFile activity and security events into existing SOC monitoring tools, providing ShareFile context where security teams already work and reducing dependence on manual log exports or custom integrations.

  • Native DLP (available as of October 1, 2026): Detects supported sensitive text-based content and allows administrators to apply policies that can alert, restrict external sharing or prevent downloads, moving sensitive-data protection from user reminders to consistent policy enforcement.

  • User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA) (available as of October 1, 2026): Analyzes activity patterns to surface unusual behavior such as abnormal downloads, off-hours activity or atypical access patterns, helping security teams identify activity worth investigating sooner.

  • Centralized security operations experience (available as of October 1, 2026): Brings supported security alerts, user and activity context and investigation paths into one place, helping shorten the distance between seeing an alert, understanding what happened and determining the next appropriate action.
