This helps teams coordinate maintenance and calibration activities, understand resource availability, identify potential scheduling conflicts, and balance workloads across people and operational priorities.

Make Smarter Scheduling Decisions with AI-Enabled Recommendations
Building on the new Resource Planning & Scheduling experience, Smart Scheduling introduces an intelligent recommendation layer that helps planners identify the right technicians for work based on similar work history and current capacity.
Smart Scheduling uses operational history already captured in RAM to recommend technicians who have experience with similar assets or work types while also considering workload to help create more balanced schedules and reduce the risk of overbooking.
This recommendation-assisted approach reduces the time planners spend manually reviewing work history, technician availability, and assignments one record at a time. It also helps organizations preserve valuable scheduling knowledge that might otherwise reside primarily with experienced planners or technicians.
Importantly for regulated operations, Smart Scheduling keeps people in control. Recommendations provide planners with an intelligent starting point, while final scheduling decisions remain with the planner and can reflect site-specific procedures and operational priorities.
Apply Risk-Based Approvals to Focus Review Where It Matters
The Summer release also introduces risk-based approval routing, enabling organizations to determine approval requirements based on defined conditions rather than applying the same review process to every record.
Routine, lower-risk changes can move through workflows with less administrative handling, while records meeting higher-risk criteria can receive additional scrutiny. This helps organizations shorten approval cycles, focus reviewer time on higher-risk activities, and establish a consistent, documented rationale for how records are routed for review.

Capture More Complete Work Plan Results
The Summer release expands RAM Work Plan Execution with support for text-based results in addition to numeric values.
Maintenance, calibration, and inspection procedures often require technicians to capture qualitative results such as pass/fail outcomes, observations, or equipment conditions. These results can now be entered directly within the appropriate work plan field, with RAM handling calculations based on the applicable value type.
This enables organizations to bring information that may have previously been captured on paper forms, in comment fields, or in separate spreadsheets directly into the RAM system of record. Once captured as structured work plan data, these results can be queried, trended, and reported alongside other asset and operational information.
Accelerate Everyday Operations Across RAM
The Summer release also delivers significant performance improvements across many of the core operations technicians, planners, and other RAM users perform throughout the day.
Twenty frequently used operations are approximately 50% faster on average, including creating work requests, signing into RAM, and opening and instantiating work plan templates.
